Amblyopia // Lazy Eye
Amblyopia, other wise known as having a "lazy eye" is the "loss or lack of development of normal vision in one eye that is unrelated to any eye health problem", according to the American Optometric Association. Amblyopia is often associated with having crossed eyes or when there is a significant difference between a person's vision up close and farther away between the two eyes. Amblyopia often develops before a child reaches first grade.
